Wallfixed Spaceright Europe Ltd Noticeboards fire retardant to Class D, suitable for use in Public Buildings and Institutions as indicated in the chart on page 6. Fire retardant covering fabric, surface bonded overall. Core material 9.5mm thick, complies to BS1142 LMN.

Class D

Noticeboards and Fire Protection
Building Regulations require Class B and Class C wall coverings to be used in large rooms, unsupervised areas or fire escape routes in institutions and public buildings. Department of Education and Science Building Bulletin No. 7 entitled ”FIRE and the design of educational buildings”, Para.95, states “Protected stairways, protected corridors and protected lobbies (i.e. fire escape routes) shall have Class B wall and ceiling surfaces.” In other areas, such as large rooms or circulation areas having alternative means of escape, it is stated that up to 20% of surfaces may have Class C finishes “but must include all display boards”.

British Standards
All Spaceright Europe Ltd noticeboards are manufactured under ISO9001:2000. TRADA Certificate No. 191. Ultralon and Wilson & Garden were awarded BS5750 (predecessor to ISO9000 qualification) in 1992, and is understood to be the first British-owned manufacturers of visual communication products to achieve this Quality Standard. Flambord PLAIN
Plain Flambord core can be supplied, uncovered, with cut or bevelled edges in 9.5mm thickness or with standard satin silver anodised aluminiumframe with rounded safety corners and concealed corner fixings.

ALTERNATIVE FINISHES FOR FLAMBORD
Flame retardant Flambord core can be used with textiles applied to customer specification to match furnishing schemes such as Glenside, Camborne, Hartley etc., from companies such as Interface and Hartley Hemisphere.

ALTERNATIVE FRAMES
Spaceright Europe Ltd Flambord core noticeboards where required can be supplied with luxury timber effect frames in Oak finish, Pine finish or Mahogany finish.
